Donation Amount

You may have noticed that I changed the donation meter to top out at $50,000.00

I did have it set at 10,000. This change was needed to cover the fact that I may or may not have medical insurance to cover the cost of the transplant. If they wait the 45 days to get my Cobra coverage it may put me past the deadline to be eligible for insurance under Cobra.

Also I have had people asking about the cost of medications and as soon as I can get the medication list uploaded it will explain how I came up with the following cost of medication post transplant.

The best case possible will be 3 months post transplant before I can return to work and the not so good case would be having to wait 6 months before returning to work.

The work sheet shows the following cost with the current inasurance

$1,704.00 and if out 3 months the cost is $5,112.00 and if out 6 months the cost would be $10,224.00

these cost are with my current insurance.

If I lose the insurance the cost will be $3,634.00 so if out 3 months that's $10,902 and if out for 6 months that total cost is $21,804.00

and those prices are only for medication. They do not include any co-pays that I will encounter without insurance.

So in order to assist with raising funds there will be candy sales, a raffle and I'm currently working on a hyponosis stage show. I have also contacted some folks (celebrities) and asked if they could help so all I can do is pray they can help because without a lot of assistance I'm not sure I can be transplanted.

As always even though I have been depressed and having a hard time, I want to thank you for your support during thesse tough times.
