With all the Bad, There does come some good...

As of 08/31/2010 I received a phone call from

Florida Hospital Transplant Center

I have been accepted and finally scheduled for my first appointment

My first appointment is Scheduled for Sept. 13, 2010.

With this approaching so soon, I need to ask for more help then ever right now.

With the transplant approaching, I have been informed that I will need to have a certain amount of money available to ensure I will be able to buy medications and seek the follow up care that will be needed.

Transplant has told me that I will need to have anywhere from 5 to 10 thousand set aside to be able to get the transplant.

My goal is to raise 8 thousand dollars.

With those that know me, you know I have never been one to ask for help. I have always been the one there to give help. So as you can imagine this has been a hard thing for me to do break down and ask for assistance.

But I'm not sure what else to do at this point.

As of Sept. 3, 2010 I will start receiving disability, but there will only be about 100 dollars to spare each month after my bills are paid and there will be no way that I will be able to raise that much money any time soon.

I just need help. So if you can donate anything at all, it will be greatly appreciated.

This blog will be updated and totals will be posted. If by chance I make more than I need, I will donate that money to another kidney transplant patient or someone that the people making donations feels need some help.

I want to thank you all for every thing that has been done up until this point and I really hate asking for help but I'm in a very desperate situation.

I understand times are tough on everyone right now and any amount would be a big help.

I thank God I have so many friends that care and I cannot thank everyone enough for everything that has been done already to help me out.
