This has got to be the most unprofessional and unethical company I have every dealt with in my life.

As I have posted before my truck was repossessed, even though I spoke to Wachovia Dealer Services and they assured me my vehicle would not be repossessed and then later that night my truck was gone.

Granted being out of work and having no income at all for several months I did get behind in the payments and had talked to Wachovia Dealer Services almost daily to get this situation corrected.

Nothing I requested happened nor would anyone do anything to help me out with this situation.

First I requested a refinancing. This was done in February 2010 while I was in the hospital. Now not only did they refuse to refinance now in as of 10/28/10 they claim there was nothing in my file to indicate that I wanted to refinance my loan. So I asked the lady at the officer of the president of Wachovia Dealer Services if she could see a problem with there being nothing in my file and her response was simply you never made any request to refinance. I was blown away with her response. I asked her if it was possible that once again Wachovia Dealer Services made an error. She stated she did not have to listen to this and hung up.

Then in October of 2008, I requested a change in the payment date. I talked to them on the phone, they mailed a change of due date form to me and I returned it to them and once again as of October 2010 they state that I never once requested a change of due date. She once again said there was nothing in my file to indicate I wanted a change of my due date. I still have the original copies of the form and on the form it clearly states that if I send that form in my due date would change and if there was a problem with the change in the due date they would get in touch with me. They never got in touch with me and since October 2008, I started making my payments on the new due date. For the life of the loan, not one payment was late even though they have billed me several thousand dollars in late fees. They now refuse to refund any of the late fees even though they violated their own policy. Policy was no late fee was due until 10 days after the due date, and for the since Oct 2008 they have billed me a late fee 2 days after the due date in violation of the policy they have.

Not to mention for the life of the loan, I have made many request to get a copy of my contract with them in writing. They have failed to provide anything in writing on any topic. Every time someone would call, I would request the conversation in writing and they refused to send anything. Not once could I verify what they were saying because I never had a copy of a contract. And trust me every month for the last 2 years they made changes or increased my payment and said it was all in the contract. And yet once again they would refuse to send anything to me regarding my so called contract with them.

I have been called a liar by Wachovia Dealer Services. I was at dialysis one day when they called and they were having problems with the hemo-dialysis machine and I was literally standing on my head to get enough blood to make the machine work and wouldn’t you know they called me during this time. I tried to explain to the man (that refused to even give his name) that I was at dialysis and I could not talk at the moment. I placed the call on speaker phone and my nurse was right there with me and he said he was getting sick and tired of all of my lies I have been telling him. I told him he could talk to the nurse and verify I was at dialysis and I would have to call back later, and started to threaten me, of course I blew up and demanded to speak to his supervisor and he hung up on me.

Then from that day forward, I started getting at least 15 calls a day from Wachovia Dealer Services threatening me with repossession and other legal law suites. I finally stopped answering all calls from Wachovia and even wrote to the office of the president and informed them that I no longer wanted to receive calls from them because of the harassment from them. The lady at the office of the president said in writing that Wachovia at all times was professional and never threatened me or harassed me. She said they have a record of all the calls.

There was also an issue last year they repossessed my truck while I was working. I come out of work and my truck is gone, I called the police and they said the truck was repossessed and I needed to call Wachovia. I called Wachovia Dealer Services and they informed me I had not made a payment in June, July or August of 2009. I blew up and told them I did make the payments and they were made before the new due date and they lady said to fax all that information to them and I could pay $1500 and get my truck back and if I did fax the receipts to them they would refund the $1500. So of course I paid, got my truck back, and faxed everything to them and they still refused to credit my account or refund the money, they stated my account was $1500 past due. They also stated at this time that my payments had changed according to my invisible contract. I asked for a copy of something in writing about the changing amounts on my loan and they refused to even send that to me.

Not to mention that every payment I made on my truck, I always overpaid. My original payments were 300 a month and I always paid 320 a month over the life of the entire loan. They still have not been willing to verify where this money went nor can I get a refund.

Not only was my truck repossessed for no reason at all, they also refused to tell me where my truck was. They told me I would have to pay a fee per day for them to store my stuff and my truck was repossessed on a Sunday and Monday I called to find out where to go get my stuff, they refused to tell me. Wachovia ended up costing me an additional $500 dollars for a storage fee all because no one at Wachovia Dealer Services would tell me where my truck was so I could get my stuff out of the truck and not have to pay that extra fee. Now once I asked about that, the office of the president refuses to even speak to me about that. It has been included in 3 written complaints and not once will they address that issue.

Today someone called my phone said his name was Freddy, refused to provide a last name or even tell me where he was calling from and then he asked me for my social security number and date of birth and I said are you joking? I’m not giving you my personal information; I don’t know who you are or where you are calling from. Freddy then said if I wanted to be a jerk and not deal with my problems like a man, there was nothing he could do to help me and he hung up. Of course I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor. Freddy sent me to a voicemail with no memory for another message so I called Freddy back and told him I needed to speak with a supervisor and not a full mail box. Freddy became irate because I still refused to give him my ssn number and date of birth and then he said there was nothing he could do and he would make sure Wachovia Dealer Services sued me to get their money and he hung up. Of course I made another complaint with the office of the president, and once again, not one single person would talk to me about the complaint.

So I called Freddy back and told him I needed to speak to a supervisor and he said I was being an ass because I did not want to tell him my medical problems. I told him my medical history was none of his business and he hung up on me again.

I called back and by this time Freddy is really irate and this time I ask for his last name and where his office is and if they needed to talk to me they needed to talk to me face to face he informed me he was calling from an undisclosed location and his name was none of my business. I asked for a supervisor again and a team leader got on the phone and refused to transfer me to the supervisor. This team leader or senior agent said Wachovia has done nothing wrong that I provoked Freddy, I said I had not he called refused to provide me with a name, location, who he was and thought I should just give him my ssn and date of birth. The senior agent said they monitored the call and they know Freddy was right and I was lying trying to cause problems since I did not want to be a man and deal with my problems. I told the senior agent if they listened to the call then they would know Freddy was in the wrong. Still they refused to transfer me to a supervisor and hung up on me again.

Finally I talk to a supervisor and he first said his name was “supervisor” and he wanted my ssn and date of birth. Once again I refused to provide that information and he said I was being uncooperative. I tell him you refuse to give me your name or ID number and you think I should give you my ssn and dob? He finally gave his name as Jamie Kivas.
I told him I needed to file a complaint about poor customer service and he said if I refused to give him my ssn and dob there was nothing he could do. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he hung up on me.

This is only a small portion of dealing with Wachovia Dealer Services or now called Wells Fargo Dealer Services. But in order to keep this somewhat short, I will stop here.

This has been by far the worst company ever to deal with. And sadly I did not ask for anything major, I needed to wait until I started getting disability to get my payments back on track and they refused. Even though when I talked to them on the day they repossessed the truck they told me they would wait and work something out for me.

And funny enough, according to the office of the president, I never called them the day of the repossession. How awesome is that..

  1. Now even though I have requested in writing not to be called by Wachovia Dealer Services, they still continue with the many phone calls every day. The office of the president of Wachovia said I had the right not to get calls from them and they would send anything in writing, and yet once again they have proved to be a bunch of liars.
